New diagrams for project statement and programming

COAHSI Statement Diagrams

Here are some diagrams of my vision statement for COAHSI, the Arts Council we are designing the center for. More refinement in these to come.

Round 4

Round 4 for me was an attempt to operate within the existing usable structures on the site, rather than total new construction. The idea was to fold the ground plane up and into the buildings, allowing it to dictate the scale and space inside and to generate new spaces outside.

Round 3

Combining previously explored typologies of the wall, plaza, and courtyard.

Just found out how to get on the roof of our 17 story studio building on Madison Ave. And I thought the view of the Empire State Building was amazing from our 14th floor space, much less the roof on 17!!

Round 2 of schematic design...this time expanding on one of another persons original proposals.
