Media Sketches

Here's some sketches for my revised media assignment...will be fabricating the model over the weekend and should have the final goodies up by tuesday

Neil Denari HL-23 Presentation

For Media II we had to select an architect and specific project to do a quick case study on, showing select works by that architect and analysis of the selected project.

I chose a fellow Texas native Neil Denari, whose office is located in Los Angeles (also recently opened in NYC). The selected project is his currently under construction HL-23 residential tower in New York City, part of the much talked-about High Line railway conversion.

Media II Exercise 2-Differentiated Luminosity First Scheme

For our second assignment in Media II, we are to create a surface and aperture system that mounts on a wall and creates intriguing shadows. This is my first scheme, to be revised. The surface form is what I want but the aperture system is far too simple.

Sketches for mobile unit

Some sketches from Phases 1 & 2...will have the Phase 2 final stuff up on Tuesday

Mapping the Discipline

For our first assignment in theory, we had to make a map of the discipline of architecture. Rather than focus on the discipline itself, I chose to look at the key urban issues facing our discipline. To be further developed....

Mobile Health Unit Phase 1

Heres a quick study model of my first scheme for a mobile health unit, a 3 week charette were doing to both jumpstart learning Revit and get geared up for our main project, a health facility in Ghana.
