Cinema 4D Independent Study

Here is the final result from my independent study using Cinema 4D to create an intense weather situation with a sectional model of my Dominican Republic project. Nothing too special, but it was a fun project to work on. I look forward to upping my C4D skills in the future!

Architects Salvaged This House's Building Materials Using Google Earth



Circling this modern Dutch house in a nine mile radius are the abandoned building sites architects spotted using Google Earth, and then salvaged materials from. Nothing was spared—not even umbrella spokes which were used for the lighting.

As much as 60 per cent of salvaged materials were used for the exterior of the house, in Enschede, Netherlands, and about 90 per cent of the interiors. Unusual supplies for building a home the architects may've used, but the design barely betrays its thrifty origins.
