Media II Exercise 2-Differentiated Luminosity First Scheme

For our second assignment in Media II, we are to create a surface and aperture system that mounts on a wall and creates intriguing shadows. This is my first scheme, to be revised. The surface form is what I want but the aperture system is far too simple.

Well things are already fired up and rolling for this semester, like it or not. While Im not exactly thrilled with the typology of our studio projects this semester, my other classes should make up for it.

Here is our first assignment for Media II, a class I have been waiting to take since I started architecture school way back when...for this piece we were simply tasked to take a 20' cube and do 12 transformations to it, each taking it one step further, and all of which intended to be seen as an architectural follie of sorts.
